Black Myth: Wukong Secret Ending Guide: Erlang, Mount Mei, and the True Finale

Four Heavenly Kings and Giant Monkey Time

• Light attack: Primal Punch. Strong blows that grant focus.

• Heavy attack: Earthshatter Slam. Leap up and slam down, healing based on focus points.

• Spell: Rock Solid. Deflect attacks to gain focus.

• Spell: Ice Bath. Infuse melee attacks with frost to freeze opponents.

The battle can take a while, but keep at it. Use your heavy attack if you need health. Each deity you defeat triggers a fatality-like scene until everyone is finished.

Finally, Erlang Shen returns in a transformed state as a Great Lion. He's more aggressive and hard-hitting than the Four Heavenly Kings, and he wields a flaming sword. Don't panic. Your heavy attack still heals. Eventually, you'll bring him down.

Rewards and the True Finale

After the battle, a cutscene plays. Erlang Shen lies beaten, gives you his own weapon, and pushes you away, saying your journey has just begun. You receive:

• Weapon: Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear (mythical). Spear-like attacks increase Thrust Stance damage. Forceful Thrust causes numerous swords to strike your target.

• Transformation: Stone Monkey (Azure Dome). Shapeshift into a human-sized Stone Monkey.

• Infusion: Frost if you equip Immobilize; fire if you equip Ring of Fire.

• Healing: Heavy attacks still heal.

• A Pluck of Many: Creates one Stone Monkey duplicate.

• Materials: 1x Kun Steel and 2x Celestial Ribbon.

• Achievement: 'Meet the Match.'

You're still not done. Return to the Mount Huaguo magical stone. Challenge the final boss once more and defeat him. If you succeed, you'll watch an entirely different cutscene. The elder picks up Sun Wukong's crown, but before he can place it on the Destined One's head, the screen flashes. A colorful animated scene plays, depicting Sun Wukong and company's adventures from Journey to the West. You'll even glimpse Tang Sanzang and Sha Wujing. At the very end, Sun Wukong exclaims that it's time to attack the Celestial Palace. He prepares for battle, leading into the game's prologue.
